One of my favorite places to stay, been going there for years. Clean and safe. sometimes heater or air not sufficient for heat but still great place to be. There should be a different discount for veterans as i am a member and cant have both so it seems.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly. Multiple dog play areas and plenty of space to walk your dog.

Very nice campground. It's gated but we've been to several in bigger cities that are also. Check-in staff was great!

Stayed for a week with my husband in the private tent sites. Over all place was good. We had some noisy not so kind neighbors that made it difficult. Staff was good, only issue we had was when one staff member yelled at us telling we were going to fast through the gate when we were not. Even stopped at the gate to insure it closed. I can see us staying again.

We were just able to stay overnight because we had to take our RV for it's annual maintenance check and then head back to Kansas. The park is always so nice and clean and the staff is just so friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will be able to stay for a longer period of time sometime. Thanks!

Only detractor I have is full time guests lower the camping experience with all their junk scattered around their sites. The other issue was I like to walk in the gate is locked with no way to exit the campground on foot until opened later in am.

First, it is very expensive to stay, and the park is very trashy-looking. There are definitely long-termers staying there, and it looks like it. It also stores motorhomes along the back wall, which thankfully is against the back wall. This is my second time at this KOA and last. If I-40 wasn't closed, we would have moved on down the road. It was very disappointing.

Very bland for a KOA. Weeds overgrown. Very little done ro make the campground pretty. Staff pick up trash in bags at sites throughout the day, but noone picked up the litter. There seemed to be more full timers and rvs in storage than travelers. Convenient if you have to stay in ABQ, but overpriced. Not a place that you want to sit outside your camper.

OK, but the restroom, called a bathhouse, needs updating. Having toilets and showers in the same stall is a bad idea. No clean toilet available on my last morning.

It would have been quieter had I camped on the medium of Interstate 40. I needed a quick place to camp on my way cross country. The campground is along a retaining wall for I-40 and very noisy. I used water, no electricity, and was gone in 13 hrs for the low price of over $90. It actually met my expectations for a metropolitan area KOA, unfortunately.

The price was way too high per night. The pool was empty. The TV cable didn't work. The worker came and verified that it didn’t work. Instead of trying to get someone to fix it they told me to call some internet company. I tried but was unable to contact the people without giving my email address etc. I told them why should I be trying to fix something that they should be doing. The worst KOA !!

Staff was great. Amenities were good. Location is biggest downfall, but we are grateful that the KOA secured the main gate at night.

An older KOA with a good bit to offer. Pool, hot tub and play areas. The city is great with lots to do. Had a mobile RV tech fix our AC while here. Only bad: bathroom in our area did not smell good.

Very nice stay, felt very safe. Added bonus for us was the dog wash, more KOA’s should have them. Would stay here again.

We had a lot of miles to drive and the Journey KOA was easy on and off the highway, very clean and easy/friendly check in. I would stay there again!

Nice park in a good location for seeing sights around Albuquerque. Our dogs enjoyed the Paw Pen and the dog washing station was fantastic!

I thought the price, approximately $104, was pretty high for just a pull through, but we needed a spot so took it. On the plus side it was a level lot, not too close to adjoining lots. The night mgr was very accommodating and pleasant. No complaints except price.

Good location, but with that you get the interstate traffic noise. The pull through sites are very close together. The park seemed to have a lot of long termers and in those areas could use a lot of grounds maintenance. Bottom line it's OK for a short visit or over night. I would stay here again.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin. We checked in late. They have a security gate where you punch in a code to get in. The security gate is only closed during the night & you can go in and out. The man who gave us the key to the cabin also escorted us to the cabin as well. We are traveling with our dog. The cabin had everything we needed. They even had dog dishes and an individual snack bag for dogs. They have 2 fenced in dog runs. There was plenty of room for your dog to get some energy out. We only stayed one night. Our cabin was spacious and the refrigerator was good sized for those who plan on staying for a week. We were impressed with what we saw during the day when we took a quick drive through. There was not much green grass, but for us that did not matter. There was a play area as well as swimming pool & hot tubs open 24hrs. We will be planning on returning and making our stay longer.

Very nice KOA. Little pricey and not extremely convenient to get to but it was nice all the same. Laundry, showers, mini golf, kids play area, multiple pet areas, pool and cabins. Not a whole lot of choices in the convenience store but will get you by in a pinch. It is a little noisy with the highway so close.
